So, October's come and gone, and we're well on our way through November. How on earth did that happen?

It's been a busy few weeks for me. I got my first DD in October, so that was pretty awesome. I gained a bunch of new watchers- welcome, guys!

I've also been trying to teach myself RPG Maker XP. I've got the basics down, although I'm a long way from mastery or even partial functionality. Most people in my poll said they only care about the artwork, though, so I'll post that as I finish the character designs, backgrounds, and sprites.

I'm also currently working on several commissions for a friend's novel. I just got the first round of designs approved, so the hard part is over! Once I get approval to post, I'll put them here in my commissions folder.

I'm also going to try to make a Christmas picture, and a tutorial to go along with it. If everything goes according to plan, I should have enough time over Thanksgiving to get most of the groundwork done.

Work is sort of insane right now. We have more work than we can feasibly handle, but no one is desperate enough to come work for us yet. It will be an interesting few months.

Haven't done any sewing stuff lately, although I do have some crafting ideas for pins. I will post them if and when I have time to actually make them.

That's pretty much it. Things are going pretty well right now, all things considered, and I hope to have a bunch of stuff to post during the holiday season. Until I have something exciting to put up here, though, here's some mundane info about little ol' me:

1. What does your deviantart name mean and why did you join this site?
At the time, my Girl Scout nickname was “Sketch,” which is why I’m just Sketch on fanfiction.net “Sir Lady” came from the Tamora Pierce “Alana” series, which I was reading at the time.

2. How many watchers do you have now?
216 people! Wow, I hadn’t realized it was so many people. Thanks, guys!

3. Name 3 of your favorite artists on DA.
There are way too many to list! (I watch 512 people) There are some fabulous artists out there, both in my watch list and my list of watchers!

4. Do you comment, fave, or both?
Mostly fave, do comment on occasion, and I try to critique when asked. I get behind on these things…

5. Do you participate in clubs' contests here on DA?
Sometimes. Depends on my life and the contest.

6. What is your most popular deviation?
My Halloween lantern, followed by my Amaterasu pic.

8. What are your favorite non-anime TV shows?
Venture Brothers, Castle, Psych, Monk, NCIS, Law & Order: SVU

9. What are the things you wish you could draw better?
Backgrounds and manly men

Winter, but preferably autumn

Sun, so long as it’s chilly

Manga! Each volume is like a mini artbook

Pepsi, but I’m trying to wean myself

Reading

I’m always logged in, but not always active… maybe an hour or two?

18. Name a hidden talent.
I do fabulous voices when reading children’s books. Justin, cat#3, particularly like my “demonic fangirl” voice.

…. Can’t you use flash to make traditional cartoons?

20. What is your favorite fast food restaurant?
Kyodai rotating sushi bar! Followed by Panera, unless Starbucks counts as a FFR.

21. What are your top 3 favorite books?
Way more than 3, man, but I love the Hobbit, Cloud Atlas, and Treasure Island

22. Wii or Playstation?
Playstation 2, although the Wii is a fabulous Zelda machine

24. Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
Fairly quick, I guess

25. Do you like Denny's?
No, I always get sick when I eat there.

Non-disgruntled

Stay Puff Marshmallow Man, as long as he was properly charred.

I’m sort of claustrophobic, so anyone would probably end up being too much for me to handle

July 1st. I'm a Crabby! I’m also a water rat. 

COMMUNISM

Foreigner, by C.J. Cherryh. I really liked it!

Otakon as a whole- so many artbook vendors to choose from, and figurines, and art prints…

Buy on occasion

You don’t mind staying late to get this done, right? >: <

Zelda, the animated series. Or Gargoyles. Or pretty much anything from the golden era of the Disney afternoon block

My game soundtracks on shuffle repeat… specifically, The Zelbess theme from Chrono Cross

Leftover Halloween candy, yum!

Lime green

Usually the hair, but often whether or not he’s smiling. …Unless it’s art class. Then it’s usually his ass.

Archery

Halloween!

Hugs! Hugs can lead to cuddling which can lead to kisses.

There’s this awesome “mountain berry” perfume I got when I was 10… I haven’t been able to find an adult equivalent

Boredom at work, artbooks, music, and caffiene

Ears, although this is dubious as I haven’t worn earrings in years

Two sisters.
